Minton and Son's Tax Service is a family owned accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, etc. firm that was founded in April of 1983 by Dana M Stuart (at the time) as Dana M Stuart CPA.  After 13 succesful years, she was achieving an income level that required her to incorporate as Dana M Minton Inc, to minimize her own personal tax burden.   In 2006, both of her sons, Micky and KC enrolled in accounting programs in the University of Arkansas System.  In July if 2011, Dana was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  After Dana hired her sons at the firm she decided to to start calling the company Minton and Sons Tax Service.  For the next 16 months she did her best to pass along the 30 years of knowledge she had absorbed to her boys.   On November 25th, 2012 Mrs. Dana lost her battle with Stage IV Melanoma.  At this point the boys (Micky & KC) took over, running the firm full time.
